Casual Employment

Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from applicants that would like to be on-call for casual employment on an “as and when required” basis.  Applications are welcome for a variety of positions, including but not limited to Labourers & Plant Operators for the Operational Works and Town Services departments, Administration Officers, Roadhouse Attendants and Visitor Information Officers.

We can add you to our casual recruitment pool and let you know when work is available.

Here's what to do:

1. Update your resume with your current contact details and work history. Always make sure your email and phone number are correct. If we can't contact you, we can't offer you work.

2. Write a short letter that outlines what type of work you are looking for and what skills you have that would be useful to Council.
