Expression of Interest - Casual Labourers for Flying Gang

Council is currently seeking expression of interest for a pool of casual labourers for a flying gang to erect signage and guideposts throughout the Shire.

Council has been awarded a large contract by Main Roads to install signage between Jundah and the Longreach Regional Council boundary which needs to be completed by 30 June 2022. Rather than doing this work by contract it is hoped to recreate the traditional flying gang with a pool of local people who can work part-time or full-time to ensure a gang of at least 3 people are operating each day of Council’s 10:4 roster.
